Mandatory courses
You should follow 120 hours of courses during your PHD :
- 1/3 courses in relationship with your PHD
These course are chosen with the agreement of the PHD supervisor. Each year the Doctoral School propose various scientific courses. Other courses can be proposed.
- 2/3 courses not linked with your thesis with a minimum of 24 h concerning professional integration and activity. These course are managed by the doctoral schools and the CIES.
Doctoriales : 10 ECTS.
What is not validated as a course by ED :
- conférences ;
- workshops ;
- training period (even 6 months).
CUEF Calendar 2011/2012, to follow french courses (only for foreigners student).The doctoral school pay the fees (one registration per year) : you must contact the doctoral school .

For Those who are monitor (B contract)
CIES monitor follow automatically 80 hours of non scientific courses (see the web site CIES). They just have to follow then 40 hours of scientific courses.------------------------------------------
